Chasselay Family has been working for almost 6  centuries (since 1464) on the lands of châtillon d’Azergues, in the south of the Beaujolais’ vineyards. The Chasselay family is one of the pioneers of organic agriculture (BIO) in Beaujolais : their wines are certified since 2006.

LOCATION: Châtillon d'Azergues, in the vineyards of Beaujolais

SIZE: 12 hectares

GRAPE VARIETIES: Gamay, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay

SOIL: Clayey-calcaerous, Granit

VINIFICATION: only use indigenous yeasts to preserve the natural characeristics of the wines. Ageing in a cask of 3000 litres, barrels and vats in oak.

PRODUCTION: 60 000 bottles per year

SALES: France 45%/Export 55%
