Château Rouquette is one of the oldest vineyards of the Entre-Deux-Mers. Built in 1346 on the highlands of Gironde region, between the Dordogne and Garonne rivers, the castle has written its history through wine. Over time, it has kept with generations, its traditions and authenticity
LOCATION: Pellegrue : 20 kms far from Saint-Emillion
SIZE: 30 hectares
GRAPE VARIETIES: 55% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc
TERROIR: very similar to the one of Saint-Emillion
EXPOSURE: The vineyards are ideally located at the summit of a hill, all around the Castle and take advantage of a full southern exposure.
HARVEST : Late hand harvest to make very high quality wines, with deep and fruity aromas
PRODUCTION: 140 000 bottles per year
SALES : France 50% / Export 50%
