Vineyard Management: A close mixture of traditional and modern methods are used in the working of the soil, maintaining grass cover between the rows of vines, and sustainable cultivation. All the techniques of production bring with them both improvements to the quality of the wine as well as respect for the environment
Vinification: The production of each parcel of land is vinified separately and fermentation is in oak barrels by vintage. Malo-lactic fermentation is used, either partially completely or not at all, dependent on vintage

The Alexandre family has been producing wine since the 18th century. Today, Yann represents the eighth generation of wine producers and he continues to bring the closest attention to each stage of the transformation from grape to wine.
The Champagne house Yann Alexandre is situated in Courmas, a small village on the Montagne de Rheims. The vineyard extends to 6.4 has (16 acres), and comprises 45% Pinot Meunier, 35% Chardonnay, and 20% Pinot Noir, spread over 16 communes of the Champagne appellation, thus offering a diversity of terroirs.
The grapes are harvested solely from the vines of the undertaking. The production of each piece of land is vinified separately so that the characteristics of each terroir can be best appreciated. Malo-lactic fermentation is carried out where appropriate, and our different vintages are aged in wine cellars for a minimum of five years.
