For nearly 6 centuries the Chasselay Family have been working the vineyards of Chatillon d’Azergues (15km from Villefranche sur Saone, in the southern part of the Beaujolais vineyards).
Since 2006, Claire and Fabien rejoined their parents at the property in order to continue this passion for viticulture.
For several years now Fabien and his Father, Jean Gilles, cultivate the vines using techniques that are environmentally friendly. The Domaine’s wines are made from grapes that are certified organic viticulture (Certified by Ecocert).
It is the fathers wisdom and knowledge linked with modern techniques and the spirit of his children that gives a specific character to the Domaine’s wines.
